Fuel Pump Problems

Do you have an issue with your Fuel Pump or Fuel Injector?

Check out wikipedia for more.

The fuel pump, also known as the fuel injector, is one of the most important parts of van engines. In most vans, fuel pumps will be found in the fuel pump. In some cases, you may find that your vehicle has two pumps: one in the fuel tank and one on the driver side’s frame rail.

How a fuel Injector works

The fuel pressure needs to meet relatively precise specifications for the engine to operate correctly and safely.

Fuel Pump with a problem

Fuel pumps or injectors can cost several hundred pounds to replace. In some vehicles, they are even impossible to remove if they break down.

WARNING: If your vehicle has an oil leak, it will lead to a very low level of oil, very quickly. This will cause the overheating and subsequent seizure of the fuel pump, resulting in component failure.

Any issues you face with your fuel pump will undoubtedly impact the performance of your van. With too low pressure, for instance, the vehicle may refuse to start or even stall when running. If the volume is not enough, then you may experience power loss or an inadequate supply of fuel to the engine, leading to other problems.
